BHI Catalog/Lease Program

Our "Rent-a-Rex" program has a wide variety of cast skeletons, skulls, touch exhibits and real fossils available for lease.

Some Fine Print

Lease cost is 10% of list price for cast specimens or original fossils (per month). Minimum fee is based on a one-month lease and must be $500 or more. Ask about multi-month or other discounts.
Site set-up is quick and easy. For large exhibits or more complex mounts we may require that BHI technicians assists your crew with the assembly and repacking of the leased materials. This is an additional cost beyond the leasing.
Lease period begins when the materials leave our facility en route to yours, and ends when specimens arrive back at BHI.
You are responsible for all roundtrip transportation costs of the leased materials.
You must provide insurance for the full value of the specimens, signage and crates, for the entire time the leased material is gone from BHI (including shipping). We may also require a deposit, letter of credit or other financial security on the leased materials.
You are responsible for repair costs for any damage that may occur to the leased materials, while in your charge.
All leased specimens are subject to a first-come first-served basis. Reserve your rental early to ensure availability (a deposit is required to hold the dates).
