Triceratops is named after the three large horns which adorn its face. This very large and popular dinosaur is immediately recognized by both young and old, and seems to bring the child out in all of us, as we imagine what it would have done with those horns and that huge solid neck frill. Triceratops is a ceratopsian dinosaur.
