Original duckbill dinosaur! This Edmontosaurus annectens is 40% complete, and was collected from the famous Ruth Mason Quarry near Faith, South Dakota. The Ruth Mason Quarry is a bone bed where hundreds, maybe even thousand of Edmontosaurus died all at once. The bones collected from this site vary in size from the very young to large adults. This skeleton is comprised of over 160 original fossil Edmontosaurus bones (all matched for size) collected from this quarry. The remainder of the skeleton will be filled in with casts of Edmontosaurus bones (also from the same site).
Once prepared, we will mount this amazing original fossil to fit your exhibit specifications. Create a dynamic display, by pairing this adult Edmontosaurus annectens original fossil with an original Juvenile, or maybe even depict the ever-raging struggle for survival during the Cretaceous by adding the worlds most famous dinosaur, Tyrannosaurus rex.
