There are times when Penetrant Stabilizer is just too darn strong. If you've gotten dirt on the bone you're applying stabilizer to, you've just bonded the dirt as well. If you have to realign a damaged area, you have to fight with the very strong, tough adhesive. PALEO-BOND™ has made a low strength and fragile penetrating stabilizer that can be mechanically removed with an air scribe or micro abrasive.
This pre-prep field consolidant is designed to solidify and hold together loose or broken fossils, soft soils, and rocks for collection until you can take them apart and put them together carefully in the lab. Dries rapidly, and can be more easily removed from bone than other PALEO-BOND adhesives.
Two years of field trials have proven it worthy to join the PALEO-BOND™ family. Use it in the field in place of PB002 and remove it in the lab before you continue with aligning and repairing your fossil.
