Triceratops is a large Ceratopsian dinosaur found throughout North America. Triceratops is characterized by its large frill, long supraorbital horns and protruding nasal horn. They seem to have traveled in relatively small groups.
This well-preserved predentary would have belonged to an adult dinosaur with a skull length of about six and a half feet. The predentary attached to the front of the lower jaw (dentaries). It would have been used to cut or break off sections of plant material, which Triceratops ground with the batteries of teeth in their powerful jaws.
