Ankylosaurus is a tank-like, plant-eating armored dinosaur. It is classified as an ornithischian dinosaur from the Family Thyreophorans (armored dinosaurs). Ankylosaurus lived in North America during the late Cretaceous period along with Tyrannosaurus rex and Triceratops.

This brightly colored dinosaur makes an excellent child's toy. There are several Vinyl Models available in the Favorite Collection line of soft bodied toys. Mr. Kazunari Araki, a famous Japanese sculptor, supervised the the production of this line of Favorite Collection models.
