Eubaena is a species of baenid turtle. Baenid turtles are all now extinct, but in the Cretaceous they were a thriving and diverse group.
What is now a semi-arid 'badland' in Eastern Montana, was a small lake approximately 70 million years ago, home to a diverse array of wildlife. This individual is a cast of one of more than 21 turtles discovered at the site of a T. rex excavation at this locale.
Available as an unpainted, unmounted cast suitable for some research or reference purposes. Note: some portions of the original fossil may have been scientifically restored.
