Original duckbill dinosaur! This Edmontosaurus annectens will be approximately 60% complete by bone count. The bones were collected from the famous Ruth Mason Quarry near Faith, South Dakota. The Ruth Mason Quarry is a bone bed where hundreds, maybe even thousand of Edmontosaurus died in one catastrophic event. The bones collected from this site vary in size from the very young to large adults. This skeleton is comprised of over 240 original fossil Edmontosaurus bones (all matched for size) collected from this quarry. The remainder of the skeleton will be filled in with casts of Edmontosaurus bones (most from the same site).
Once prepared, we will mount this amazing original composite fossil to fit your exhibit specifications. Create a dynamic display by pairing this adult Edmontosaurus annectens original fossil with an original Juvenile, or perhaps you may wish to depict the ever-raging struggle for survival during the Cretaceous by adding the world's most famous dinosaur, Tyrannosaurus rex.
